The Rhiwlas Village Hall Committee has succeeded in winning a substantial grant in order to improve the facilities provided in the building. It was decided to install new cupboards and equipment in the kitchen and that means that room will not be available to the public between 4th July and 27th August.
It will not be possible to use the kitchen to make a cuppa and the public are asked not to boil kettles in the other rooms. However, individuals may bring a flask of tea/coffee if they so desire.
The intention is for the large main room and the smaller community room to still be available, but the public are kindly asked to be patient while the workmen are on site.
Some boxes will have to be kept in the larger room while the work takes place but it is not envisaged that this will have a great effect on the use of the room.
